Martha Bennett - Executive Director
My name is Martha Littlefield Bennett, I am the widow of the late James “Jim” Edward Bennett, and we have a wonderful daughter Chelsea Elizabeth and 4 grandsons. I was born in Greenville, South Carolina and moved to Miami. Moving back to Greer my senior year of high school, I am a proud graduate of Greer High School. I have lived in Greer, 34 years, where I have been active at Greer High School, Greer Community Ministries and Praise Cathedral. I am a member of the Greer Lions Club and Leadership Development Council. I was a member of the Greer Chamber Leadership Class #39.
I studied Interior Design at Winthrop University. My love for design and working with people started there. Later leading mother and I to start Chelsea's Catering over 30 years ago. My love of God, people and food connected me with the soup kitchen. We would connect with Mr. Merle and give him left overs from weddings and other events we catered. I have been the Director of the Daily Bread Ministries/Greer Soup Kitchen for 13 years. We are here to serve, so always remember to be God’s Hands and Feet wherever you go.
Chris Farinella - Chairman of the Board
Retired, married to Carol Herron, 3 children and 3 grandchildren.
Born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA. BS in finance from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Have been a resident of Greer, SC for the last 13 years. 40 years of retail management experience with May departments stores and Belk. Currently on HOA boards for Thornblade and Spring Crossing neighborhoods. Active member of St. Mary Magdalene Church for the last 10 years. I have been a volunteer at the Greer soup kitchen for over a year.
Sandy Thomason - Board Member
Sandy and her husband, Bryan have resided in Greer for more than 35 years. They have 2 children, Emily and Cole, who both reside in the area. Sandy received a degree in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina and a Masters in Elementary Education from Converse College. She is currently a retired teacher that has returned to the classroom part-time. Both she and her husband are active at their church, First Presbyterian Church of Greer. Sandy is also a weekly volunteer serving meals at the Soup Kitchen.
Eugenia Bentley - Board Member
I have lived, loved and continue to grow here in Greer South Carolina for more than 30 years. I am a happy wife to the most loving husband, Bryan. I am a proud Mamma bear to one son, and two daughters. I am a Mortgage loan officer and my passion is in serving others by making the dream of homeownership into a reality. God, my family and serving our community are what brings purpose to my every day. I love our growing community and I strive to make a positive difference in the lives of others.

Tina Smalls - Board Member
Earnestine Smalls (aka Tina) born and raised in South Boston VA. She currently resides in Simpsonville SC.
She is a retired military veteran of the United States Air Force after serving 23 active duty years and two years of government service.
She currently serves as an Associate Minister at the Old Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church in Simpsonville SC and an International Missionary with Sowing Seeds for Joy Missions Organization, Dallas TX.
She is a preacher, Bible teacher, grief support leader, and volunteers where she’s needed.
Along with many of her attributes, Tina’s favorites are being a mother, a grandmother, and living the life as a Woman of God.
