Daily Bread Ministries is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization – all donations to our ministry are tax deductible. This organization depends entirely on the gracious donations of churches, individuals and various businesses. With food and other resources donated, we are able to supply many people’s needs; but without financial donations we would lack the resources to operate our soup kitchen and shelter.
Your donations will be tax deductible, and a receipt will be provided from Daily Bread Ministries if your donation is received directly. Donations through PayPal will get an electronic receipt. PayPal keeps a portion of your donation for their services. If you want your entire donation to go to the Greer Soup Kitchen or the Greer Family Shelter you can do it via several methods:

Donate through your church and designate your donation to DBM, STEP (the family shelter) or GSK (the Greer Soup Kitchen). Your church will typically provide you with a record of your donation for tax purposes.

Donate via electronic payment by setting up Daily Bread Ministries, Inc., Greer Soup Kitchen, Greer Shelter to Empower People (STEP) as a payee. Use your name as your account number, and PO Box 2344, Greer, SC, 29652, 864-968-0323 for set up info. You will receive an acknowledgement letter for tax purposes.

Come by during serving hours at the Greer Soup Kitchen at 521 E. Poinsett St. and make a donation in person. There is someone there to take your donation from 10 AM to noon, Monday through Saturday and between 3:30 PM and 5 PM Sunday.
